1. Prescription Medications
Due to regulatory requirements and the nature of prescription medications, we generally do not accept returns of prescription medications once they have been dispensed. This policy is in place to ensure the safety and integrity of our products.
Exceptions:
- Damaged or Incorrect Items: If you receive a damaged or incorrect prescription medication, please contact us within 7 days of receipt. We will arrange for a replacement or issue a full refund, depending on your preference and product availability.
- Verification Required: To process a return or refund for damaged or incorrect prescription medications, we may require you to provide photographic evidence of the damage or the incorrect item.
2. Over-the-Counter (OTC) Drugs and Wellness Products
For over-the-counter (OTC) drugs and wellness products, we may accept returns on a case-by-case basis, provided the following conditions are met:
- Unopened and Unused: The item must be unopened, unused, and in its original packaging.
- Timeframe: You must request a return within 14 days of receiving the product.
- Return Authorization: You must obtain a return authorization from our customer service team before sending the item back.
- Return Shipping: You are responsible for the cost of return shipping, unless the return is due to our error (e.g., we sent the wrong item).
3. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are generally non-returnable:
- Prescription medications (except in cases of damage or error).
- Opened or used OTC drugs and wellness products.
- Items not in their original packaging.
- Items returned without prior authorization.
- Products with an expiration date that has already passed.
4. How to Request a Return
To request a return, please follow these steps:
- Contact our customer service team at support@mediccart.com within the applicable timeframe (7 days for damaged/incorrect prescription medications, 14 days for eligible OTC drugs and wellness products).
- Provide your order number, a description of the item you wish to return, and the reason for the return.
- If your return is approved, we will provide you with a return authorization and instructions on how to return the item.
5. Refunds
Once we receive your returned item and verify that it meets our return criteria, we will process your refund. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.
- Processing Time: Please allow 7-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account.
- Shipping Costs: Original shipping costs are non-refundable, unless the return is due to our error.
- Partial Refunds: In some cases, we may offer a partial refund if the item does not fully meet our return criteria.
6. Exchanges
We do not currently offer direct exchanges. If you need a different item, please return the original item (if eligible) and place a new order for the desired item.
7. Damaged Items
If you receive a damaged item, please contact us immediately. We may require photographic evidence of the damage to process your claim. We will work with you to arrange for a replacement or issue a full refund.
